R.G. Ross Construction Company, Inc. was founded as
a commercial general contractor in 1975 by Richard G. Ross, P.E.
Mr. Ross had an old school philosophy of working well with people,
not just the companies they represent. He believed in providing
the client a quality product as well as personal service unmatched
in the industry.
Upon his retirement in 1998, Mr. Ross sold the company
and its goodwill to three employees Frank H. Haase,
Vincent J. Mannino II, and others who have carried
on the Ross tradition of superb quality construction and service
to our clients.
From its beginnings in two small rooms over a local
pharmacy, Ross Construction has maintained strong and steady growth
to become one of the premier general contractors in St. Louis.
The companys accomplishments lie in its versatility
and dexterity, and it boasts considerable experience in many fields
of construction, including retail, institutional, light industrial,
ecclesiastical, and medical, as well as multi-family and unique
upscale projects. R.G. Ross prides itself on its expertise in ground-up,
turnkey construction, as well as add-on building modifications and
complete rehabilitation projects.
The companys largest project to date is a $35 million
contract as site construction manager for the $200 million Gravois
Bluffs project, a 300-acre retail and industrial complex in Fenton,
Missouri. Ross is also the general contractor for many of the major
tenants in the complex.
An outstanding example of Ross Constructions versatility
and expertise is the Sinquefield House, an impressive 20,000-square-foot
private residence in Folk, Missouri. Ross was the general contractor
for this masterpiece, on 600 acres of land 140 feet above the Osage
River, designed by architects Barton Phelps & Associates of Los
Angeles.
With a full staff of dedicated project managers/estimators,
experienced field force, an efficient accounting department, top-notch
support personnel, and a growing list of satisfied clients, R.G
Ross Construction has built a strong foundation for its future.
