Fire Station No. 1 Metro West Fire Protection District

This project was a renovation and HVAC upgrade of 7,200 square foot of living space. Work included the creation of private bunk rooms, kitchen updating, new toilet and bathing facilities, new flooring and paint and a new energy efficient Daikin heating and cooling system. This work required extensive coordination to work within a functioning and occupied facility and required “on the fly” engineering both architecturally and mechanically. The replacement of the existing windows with more energy efficient units and a new patio with sun shade and BBQ grille complete the new environment for the fire men of house 1. The project was completed in December 2013, per the fire department’s schedule.
