Hudson Elementary School Addition
This project consisted of an 8,000 SF masonry back up and brick veneer structure, with steel trusses and a TPO roof. The building was an addition to the Hudson Elementary School, serving as a new multi-purpose room with two additional bathrooms, storage and office space. The existing school had some unique brick work that created a challenge in selecting the exterior finishes of the new addition so it meshed well on the site. The site work and paved areas were re-worked to create a better traffic flow and improve site drainage. In addition, the existing school required the conversion of the existing gymnasium space into a new library area with a computer lab. The project was completed on time and the school district is very happy with the final result.
