This project consisted of converting a 3,500 SF vacated gas station/convenience store into a veterinary clinic. The concrete floor slab was removed to allow for a network of underground plumbing to serve the four new exam rooms and a two ADA compliant restroom could be installed and to provide a uniform level surface for new flooring. 3 new HVAC roof top units and an electrical service overhaul were required. The space was then divided by new metal stud and drywall partitions defining four exam rooms, a kitchen/employee lounge, a comfort room, two Dr.’s offices, a central reception area with custom desk, a functional lab and a large treatment area with x-ray room, surgery suite, ICU, kennel room and storage areas. Medical treatment islands were installed in the center of the treatment space.
